Jeffrey T. Brown has been practicing law since 1987, and joined the firm as a senior associate in 1999. He was made a partner in 2006, and is a member of the Insurance Defense litigation practice group.
Mr. Brown was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1962, and graduated with a B.A. in Pre-law from Pennsylvania State University in 1984, where he was also a First Team All America and nationally ranked competitor in NCAA Fencing. He earned his juris doctorate from Catholic University in 1987, where he was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Federal Procedure and Family Law. Following graduation, he served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Robert H. Mason, Seventh Judicial Circuit of Maryland from 1987-1988.
Mr. Brown is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia, where he defends the interests of his clients in the areas of insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage, insurance fraud and civil litigation. Mr. Brown's practice also involves representing plaintiffs in civil suits involving personal injury.
Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Brown is the father of five children, and enjoys golf and historical document collection and preservation, as his limited time permits.
