Alan Siciliano has been practicing law for more than thirty years, and is one of the founding partners of DeCaro, Doran, and currently serves as the Practice Group Leader for the Medical and Professional Malpractice Litigation Group.
Born in 1946, in Washington, D.C., he attended Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, where he obtained a B.S. in Economics, in May 1969. After serving in the United States Army for two years, including a tour in Viet Nam, he returned to Washington, D.C., and entered the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. He was a member of the Catholic University Law Review, and earned his juris doctorate in 1975. Mr. Siciliano served as judicial law clerk to The Honorable John J. Mitchell, Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland before entering private practice.
Mr. Siciliano's areas of expertise include medical and professional malpractice, insurance defense, premises liability, worker's compensation, civil litigation, common carrier litigation, and insurance coverage law, with special emphasis in the defense of catastrophic personal injury actions. Mr. Siciliano is admitted to practice in all three area jurisdictions, Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Siciliano is an active member of the South Colony Community Association, and serves as chair of the Cluster Committee.
