Bio

Erin Hebert Cancienne was born in 1981 in Marrero, Louisiana.  She attended Louisiana State University, where she obtained a B.S. in Marketing (with a concentration in Marketing Research) in 2002 and earned her J.D. and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University in 2005.  At Paul M. Hebert School of Law, she was co-chair of the Pro Bono Society and volunteered in the VITA program.  In addition, she received several CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for having the highest grade in subjects such as, Administrative Law, Business Associations II, Common Law Property, European Union II:  Commerce and Business, and Real Estate Law.

In 2005, she became a member of the Louisiana bar.  Prior to joining DeCaro, Doran, Siciliano, Gallagher & DeBlasis, LLP, Mrs. Cancienne served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Anthony Ragusa, Jr. of the 25th Judicial District Court in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana.

In 2007, Erin moved to Maryland and joined DeCaro, Doran, Siciliano, Gallagher & DeBlasis, LLP as a law clerk in our Summer Associate Program.  The same year, Erin became a member of the Maryland bar.  In 2009, she joined the District of Columbia bar, and currently is an associate attorney at DeCaro, Doran.  She is a member of the  Prince George's County Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Marlborough Inns of Court, and the Louisiana State Bar Association.
