Bio

John W. Leonard joined DeCaro, Doran, Siciliano, Gallagher & DeBlasis, LLP in 2009 through the firm’s Summer Associate program, and is currently an Associate assigned to the Insurance Defense Litigation practice group.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1979, John graduated from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2002.  After a number of years working in Washington, D.C. for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, as well as in Baltimore, Maryland and Denver, Colorado on political campaigns, he later attended The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2010.  While in law school, John clerked for an Administrative Judge at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and was Editor-in-Chief for Volume 26 of The Journal of Contemporary Health Law and Policy.

Mr. Leonard is barred in Maryland, appearing before the Court defending the interests of his clients in personal injury and premises liability matters.
