Wills, Estates and Trusts

Do you know what happens if you die without having a will?  The courts will decide who will raise your children, inherit your possessions, and administer your estate.

The attorneys at DeCaro, Doran, Siciliano, Gallagher & DeBlasis, LLP approach these issues with compassion and understanding regardless of your net worth or wealth, and are committed to protecting the assets that you have worked so hard to earn.

Every individual needs a Last Will and Testament, Durable Power of Attorney, and Healthcare Power of Attorney.  Partner Samuel J. DeBlasis, II and his Associate, Jennifer King will take the time to meet with you to determine not only how you would like your assets to be distributed upon the event of your death, but whom you would like to be responsible for carrying out your wishes.  You can also prepare for an unforeseeable event, such as a serious illness or catastrophic injury that may render you unable to make financial or health care decisions for yourself by drafting a Durable Power of Attorney and Health Care Power of Attorney.

Living Trusts

Over the last two decades, the popularity of Living Trusts has increased significantly.  Living Trusts, once only common among the wealthy, is now an important estate planning tool.

A Revocable Living Trust (not to be confused with a “Living Will,” which is simply a Health Care Power of Attorney) is a document created by you to manage your assets during your lifetime and distribute the remaining assets after your death.  The trust is considered revocable, because it can be modified or terminated at your discretion.  Your assets in a Revocable Living Trust will also allow your beneficiaries to administer your estate without interference from the courts.

Our attorneys have substantial experience and expertise in all areas of estate and trust planning, Will drafting, and representation of estates through probate proceedings.  To secure your present and protect your future, meet with one of our knowledgeable Trust and Estate attorneys today.
