Jury Trials Postponed in Maryland and District of Columbia

Due to the Omicron variant surge, the Maryland Judiciary has decided that beginning December 29, 2021, all jury trials scheduled through February 8, 2022, will be rescheduled. Courts Offices statewide will remain open to the public, but it is within the discretion of each court to hold proceedings, other than jury trials, remotely or in person.
On December 30, 2021, Chief Judge Josey-Herring of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, ordered that Civil jury trials scheduled through February 11, 2022 will be continued to the earliest possible date after February 11, 2022.
