DeCaro Doran is very happy to celebrate its 25^th Anniversary as a partnership providing legal services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.  Jeff DeCaro, Tom Doran, Alan Siciliano (retired), Chuck Gallagher, and Sam DeBlasis, worked together for ten years at our predecessor firm before opening DeCaro Doran on January 1, 1993.  Chris Dunn joined us in 1988 and became an equity partner with the firm in 1994; James Liskow became an equity partner in 2016 after 10 years with our firm.  Anne Marie McGinley, Jeff Brown, Jennifer King, Matt Ranck, Jenny Rowlett, and Erin Cancienne are also partners with the firm.  Linda Colevas has served as our Office Administrator and Jerry Chen as the firm’s Comptroller since its inception. 
The firm’s practice has grown geographically and in scope over the years.  We now offer expanded practice in all areas of civil defense litigation, including general liability defense (both personal and commercial lines), Construction Defect Litigation, Trucking and Transportation Law, Shopkeeper/Premises & Dram Shop Liability, Professional Malpractice, Medical Malpractice, Healthcare Law, Medical Device Litigation, Insurance Coverage, Workers’ Compensation, Business Law & Commercial Transactions, Employment Law, Personal Injury Litigation, Criminal Law/DWI/Traffic Offenses, and Wills, Estates & Trusts.  The firm has tripled in size since 1993, with two dozen attorneys assisted by an excellent support staff, including a dozen paralegals and law clerks.
