The Maryland State Bar Association recently updated their Maryland Automobile Accident Deskbook for the first time in almost 20 years. The treatise summarizes relevant law governing motor vehicle accidents and the legal issues that follow, including liability, defenses, case law, damages, and insurance considerations. Each chapter of the book was drafted by a different attorney active in the field.

Jeffrey R. DeCaro, one of the founding partners of DeCaro Doran, served as an co-editor of the Deskbook and played a major role in its production. Chapter 10 on Motorcycles, Bicycles, Buses, Rental Cars, and Ride Sharing Programs was drafted by Matthew Gannett and Chapter 18 on Autonomous Vehicles: Development Progress and Lacking Liability Schemes was drafted by Rebecca Schisler-Adams.
