DeCaro Doran Joins Themis Advocates Group:  With a focus on continued expansion and increased services to our clients, DeCaro Doran Siciliano Gallagher & DeBlasis has joined other law firms across the United States in the Themis Advocates Group and in launching the website for the Themis Advocates Group. 

The Themis Advocates Group is a national network of small to mid-size law firms with a primary focus on insurance defense litigation whose members are similar in their mission and in their openness to exploring innovative ways to better serve their clients in the insurance industry. This national network of preeminent law firms covers a majority of the jurisdictions in the country, with the goal of eventually covering all of the fifty states. After a detailed vetting process, DeCaro Doran Siciliano Gallagher & DeBlasis was selected as a Themis member for defense litigation in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and northern Virginia. DeCaro, Doran is also pleased to announce that David M. Seymour has joined the firm as an associate attorney where he has immediately taken over the handling of defense litigation matters in Maryland and the District of Columbia. David received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. Thereafter, David received his law degree from American University, Washington College of Law, where he was a member of the American University Law Review, in 2006.

David is barred in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia. After completing law school, David spent over five years as an Assistant Public Defender in Baltimore, Maryland, where he represented adult and juvenile clients at all phases of the criminal justice system in both the District Court and Circuit Court in Baltimore City. David has extensive experience in litigation, including trial work, and we are very pleased to have him join Decaro, Doran to assist in our defense litigation practice.
