James E. Lego has joined the Insurance Defense Litigation Group at DeCaro Doran as an Associate Attorney, based in the firm’s Fairfax, Virginia office.

A Virginia native, Mr. Lego was born in Portsmouth and raised in Suffolk. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance, magna cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2011. He later received his Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School in 2020, where he was honored with the CourtCall Award for Best Moot Court Student in his graduating class.

Before joining DeCaro Doran, Mr. Lego worked with a distinguished Washington, D.C. law firm, delivering legal services to corporate, individual, and nonprofit clients.

Outside of his legal practice, Jimmy is a talented musician and an enthusiastic tennis and pickleball player. His diverse interests also include homebrewing, board games, and collecting vinyl records.
