
As an Associate Attorney with DeCaro Doran, John’s practice concerns General Liability and Insurance Defense Litigation.
John graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mary Washington in 2020 with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. He was awarded the Philosophy and Law Prize, for having the highest GPA out of graduates in his school’s Philosophy Pre-Law concentration. John was extensively involved in his university’s policy debate team, qualifying for the National Debate Tournament in 2020. In 2024, John graduated cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While there, he was a Rule 19 student attorney with his school’s Community Development Clinic, assisting local businesses and nonprofits with contract issues.
After law school, John spent a year clerking for Judge Shannon E. Avery at the Baltimore City Circuit Court. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in December 2024.
A proud Maryland native, John’s love for his home state runs deep, especially when it comes to the Baltimore Orioles. He rarely misses a game and can talk statistics for hours. When he’s not in the office or watching a game during the baseball season, John enjoys cooking, exploring Baltimore’s food scene, and spending time with his cat, Millie.
